We ...Really nice post Monique, beautifully written. We are all familiar with the daily grind (the hamster-wheel) that saps our energies and prevents us from thinking. Having exciting things to think about (e.g. realist theory) is one, important kind of salvation, but it sadly doesn't make those other demands go away. We need, in addition, better, smarter ways of organising ourselves that free up a significant proportion of our working lives for thinking and writing. Those of you lucky enough to be employed by Fuse should benefit from this luxury to an extent, with some degree of freedom from teaching and administration. But you are the few. So, our first challenge is find some time to do some serious thinking about a new organisational model.
